Configure your BNex workspace
BNex Settings separates everyday workspace configuration from Advanced developer and data tools, including the business profile, WhatsApp connection, AI configuration, API keys, webhooks, exports, and MCP agents.

General settings
Use General Settings for the business profile, WhatsApp connection, AI configuration, billing preferences, and workspace integrations that are available to your role. Save workspace profile changes before using the action that pushes the updated profile to Meta.
The WhatsApp business profile is distinct from the internal BNex workspace name. Updating the BNex name does not change Meta’s WhatsApp display-name approval.
- Open Settings in the active workspace. Confirm the workspace selector shows the business you intend to configure.
- Choose the relevant settings page or section. Use the Settings page switcher and section navigation to find profile, WhatsApp, AI, billing, or integration settings.
- Review and save the change. Check the displayed values and save. Where BNex offers a Meta profile sync action, first save the workspace profile and then use the sync action.
Advanced settings
Advanced Settings contains Developers & Data tasks such as API keys, webhooks, contact import/export, workspace data export, and MCP agent connections. These controls are intentionally separate from the everyday General Settings page.
Workspace JSON export includes contacts, messages, templates, and workflows. Contact export is available as CSV. Google Drive backup is not currently offered in the Settings UI.
WhatsApp and AI configuration
- BNex shows connection readiness and helps you continue WhatsApp setup from the relevant Settings area.
- Meta connection or permission failures should be resolved in the relevant Meta Business settings when BNex displays a provider-side reason.
- AI provider configuration and validation are workspace-specific. Review the chosen configuration before enabling any customer-facing automated behavior.
- The internal Copilot and customer-facing automation agents are separate product surfaces.
Frequently asked questions
Where are API keys, webhooks, and exports?
They are in Advanced Settings under Developers & Data, rather than on the General Settings page.
Does the BNex workspace name change the WhatsApp display name?
No. The workspace name is an internal BNex identity; WhatsApp display-name review is managed separately by Meta.
