Create and measure campaigns

Create a BNex campaign by choosing a saved audience and Meta-approved template, mapping its variables, reviewing eligible recipients and an informational cost estimate, then sending now or scheduling.

Create a campaign

  1. Set up the campaign. Enter a campaign name, choose an approved WhatsApp template, and select a saved audience. A missing saved segment is not treated as “all contacts”; choose or create the intended audience.
  2. Personalize the template. Map each template variable to the contact or message value it should use. Upload required header media when the template needs it.
  3. Review recipients and cost. Check the eligible recipient count, the informational maximum-cost estimate, and the campaign summary. Opted-out and otherwise ineligible contacts should not be targeted.
  4. Choose when it should send. Select immediate dispatch or a future schedule, then submit the campaign. Advanced options include throttling and A/B testing when available in the composer.
  5. Monitor the report. Open the campaign after submission to review progress and outcome counts. Delivery and billing outcomes can continue to update after dispatch.

Understand campaign statuses

BNex does not dispatch a campaign using a template that Meta has not approved. When Meta approves a template, eligible campaigns can be released automatically, except when their scheduled time is still in the future.

  • Pending owner approval: a campaign created by a non-owner is waiting for the workspace owner to approve it.
  • Awaiting template approval: the campaign is waiting for Meta to approve its template.
  • Scheduled: the campaign is waiting for the scheduled send time.
  • Pending/processing: the campaign has cleared the applicable gates and is eligible for dispatch or is being processed.
  • Template rejected: Meta rejected the template. Review the rejection reason and update the template rather than expecting the campaign to send.

Read campaign counts

Campaign cards and reports show sent, delivered, read, failed, and processed-recipient counts. Sent is cumulative across sent, delivered, and read outcomes; delivered is cumulative across delivered and read. Read and failed are their respective current outcomes.

Use the campaign report as the detailed source for an individual campaign. The dashboard provides an overview, not a replacement for the report.

Frequently asked questions

Can I send a campaign using a template that Meta is reviewing?

No. BNex parks the campaign while its template is awaiting Meta approval. If Meta rejects the template, BNex records the rejection reason and does not send the campaign.

Is the campaign estimate the final charge?

No. It is an informational pre-send estimate, not a reservation or a guaranteed final cost. Wallet and audience checks run again at campaign creation, and delivered-message billing is recorded later.
