WhatsApp message templates for fruit and vegetable suppliers

Fruit and vegetable suppliers run on six templates: four utility messages for order confirmation, dispatch notes, weight or quality confirmation and delivery slots, one marketing template for seasonal boxes, and one authentication template for the ordering account.

Produce changes every morning, so orders are confirmed, renegotiated and dispatched on a daily rhythm. Prices shift with weight, and a single missed dispatch note can cost a restaurant its lunch service. WhatsApp keeps buyers and drivers on the same page in real time.

{{1}}, your consignment {{2}} has left our yard with {{3}}. Expected arrival is {{4}}.

Weight and grade check

Hi {{1}}, today's {{2}} came in at {{3}}. Reply to accept the revised weight or adjust the quantity.

How the category changes what you pay

  • Every template is submitted under one category, and Meta assigns the final one in review. A utility template that reads like a promotion can be reclassified as marketing, which changes both the rate and the opt-in requirement.
  • Since 1 October 2026, service messages are charged per delivered message after the first 1,000 free service messages per business phone number per month. The allowance does not roll over and there are no volume tiers.
  • Inbound messages are free, and a customer-initiated message opens the 24-hour customer service window. Anything you start outside that window needs an approved template.
